"Warcraft" is a movie based off the popular game "World of Warcraft."" Now I’ve never played the game, but I have looked some into it. It is a vast game and it is hard to truly define in a simple way. However it will still be talked about here for it is what the movie is based off of.

"World of Warcraft" ("WoW") is primarily a computer based game. It originally came out in 2004 as a Massively Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game (MMORG). It is a game where you can buy expansions for one to play. The main goal of it is to stop Thrall’s Horde, an army which has orcs, undead and more. The game has a gigantic world to it, with multiple expansions, along with a huge history. Some of the backstories are amazing and you create your own character that you can level up and somewhat change as you do.

Now the movie somewhat goes into this world where it can. It would be impossible to create a single movie, or even a series of movies, that fully covers the games. Now one complaint of the movie is that it sets itself up at the end for another. Now that could not be the of the creators, but a simple shout out to the ongoing gameplay. However, since it is Hollywood I doubt that is the case. The main plot of the movie follows the plot of the game.

Now for the fun part of it is the subplots of the movie. It is hard to say what the movies subplot are seeing it once, but I’m going to give it a shot. One is the relationship between one of the orcs and his wife, which is an interesting one because it makes the side of evil that much more relatable. Along with the questioning of loyalties for a half-breed and of people in power.

The questioning of the power is on both sides. The one on the orcs side is of the leader by a small group. It shows that the leader is also willing to do whatever it takes to keep his power and get what he wants. So he will use fear of death to keep people in line, which has happened in our own history. The prime example here, not trying to spread hatred here when I say this, is Germany during World War II. Now in the human side of this is the fact that there is a person that is not king abusing his power, along with letting the orcs into the world.

Now my favorite one that I saw was that at the end of the movie you saw that there was both good and evil on both sides of the battle field. Yes, in the movie there is a clear good side and a bad side, but it makes it more realistic. However these hints make you question who is really good and bad makes it more enjoyable. Like I said this is my favorite subplot in the movie.

It was a great movie that you should see if you like action, fantasy, scifi movies. I might even go to see it again tonight if I get the chance to.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
