I grew up listening to a lot, and I mean A LOT, of classic rock. Whether I was in the car with my mom, dad, or even my granny, I was probably listening to classic rock. Because I was raised on classic rock it definitely influenced my music taste; which lead me to fall in love with Stevie Nicks.

My obsession with Stevie started in my sophomore year of high school. You remind me so much of that song." My mom probably shouldn't have told me that because after she told me that I begged her to let me change my name for years! After that I listened to every song she sang, wrote and I even watched documentaries about her.

Her songs speak to me. When I have had a rough day I can just listen to "Dreams" and feel at peace. She has influenced me to be my wild, gypsy, free-loving self. Her music has helped me through so many obstacles in life. She makes me feel empowered, which is something girls need to feel.
