"So avoid using the word 'very' because it's lazy. A man is not very tired, he is exhausted. Don't use very sad, use morose. Language was invented for one reason, boys-to woo women-and, in that endeavor laziness will not do." --Dead Poets Society

With that being said, here are some words for you men to woo us women. Also, finals are coming up so why not impress your professors. I found the majority of these words reading "The Hiding Place" by Corrie ten Boom, also I used the online thesaurus aka google.

1. Harrowing: intense distress

--That bridge is very harrowing.

2. Rapturous: characterized by, feeling or expressing, great pleasure.

--His heart poured out a rapturous reply.

3. Irrepressible: uncontrollable; restrained.

--I was irrepressibly involved with him.

5. Condone: to accept or allow

--I condone your ideas.

6. Stalwart: loyal; hardworking; reliable.

--He is a stalwart worker

7. Mellifluous: a sound that is sweet and smooth; pleasing to hear

--His voice is mellifluous.

8. Gaunt: thin

--That is a gaunt piece of bread.

9. Spurious: false or fake

--Thats a spurious claim!!

10. Ineffable: too great to be expressed in words.

--The natural beauty of the Rocky Mountains is ineffable.

Okay, okay, so you might not be able to use these words in a term paper, but you just learned new words. Yay hooray!

So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
