You feel the bass kicking into your brain waves. As the drop in a techno song approaches, as an awesome guitar riff is about to happen you feel it. You can't believe that your favorite artist speaks the same language as you. The way that music communicates inside one's body is something that cannot be explained. With rock and heavy metal, it is the relating of band tees. With the EDM culture, it is the exchange of Kandi jewelry.
I can remember my first concert like it was yesterday. The sensation of knowing the music by heart and going to the beat of the song is something that cannot leave the body. I was 6 and I went to a Belinda concert (Belinda is a Mexican pop star). It was one of the best days of my young life. Below is the album that the tour was on.

Music as its own entity changes people's lives. It becomes a catharsis for those who are considered pariahs in the society that is today. As reggae legend, Bob Marley once said, “One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain.” Which is why music is such an art. It helps heal all wounds that are made by other inflicting things in a person's life. The numbing sensation seeps within every nerve ending in a person's body. It comes in waves and it takes you in as their own. It's a religion and a creed that you follow effortlessly because it drags you into another dimension.
Music expresses what words cannot sometimes. When words truly fail, music does speak for people's souls. Super fans may seem crazy for some people. But, those members of a group or a single artist has spoken of them. It is a true art form because the unexplainable words of a sobbing person could be calmed and even get repaired through the words of these artists.
I recall my junior year of high school, a band called Bring Me The Horizon was introduced into my life. Since then, with every song and album I have learned to improve my communication. While such a tumultuous moment in my identity journey, a song called "Avalanche" from their recent album described how my 16-year-old mind was in shambles.
Music does communicate what those can't express verbally.
