As we are now entering the fourth month under President Donald Trump’s leadership, it appears that the buzz in America has yet to die down. In fact, it seems as though the citizens of the country will never cease to settle down and just accept the fact that he is our president – get over it, snowflakes, you lost! In light of the innumerable amount of headlines reading things along the lines of “America Outraged by Trump’s Latest Action” that are cluttering news websites, I have deemed it appropriate to name a handful of the reasons that all of the snowflakes need to swallow their pride and stop whining about Trump being president. So if you are contributing to the idea that our president has done “nothing for the people” and is “sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, racist, etc” in the words of our fearless leader, “WRONG, you’re wrong.” As a woman, I feel I can offer a different perspective.
Many women would claim that Trump is a sexist pig and has flagrant disregard for women’s issues; however, Trump loves women. There is no denying that he is steadfast in his advocacy for women’s rights. In fact, his action to defunding Planned Parenthood only shows that he admires the fight women have fought to be where we are today, he just wants women to do it all over again. As the millennial generation has had zero struggles thus far, the American women should be thankful to have the opportunity to understand what it feels like to not have full control over their bodies. In his own words, he has self-proclaimed in an interview, “There's nobody that has more respect for women than I do,” and who can argue with facts?
To continue, we should, as a whole gender, feel flattered that he has such vast admiration for us and our bodies. Who wouldn’t jump for joy in hearing that the President of the United States is so attracted to woman kind – but lest we think it’s all woman kind: the so called “ugly” and “fat” are excluded. However, even that in and of itself is a compliment! He cares so much about the ideal woman physique that he points out the flaws of those who don’t fit the mold in order to motivate them. Where is the harm in a hateful, slight nudge to push those who already have an incredibly hard time in this country over the edge?
Clearly, the benefits of being a woman living in Trump’s America are endless. In fact, I could go on and on for hours about it, but I feel it best to stop here as I have already pointed out the two major factors. Snowflakes of the country: I apologize if you didn’t find my article enlightening, but that is your own problem. If you can’t see the greatness of the President Donald J. Trump, well that’s is just – for lack of a better word – sad!
