Dear Family,

Thank you so much for all of your constant love and kind words. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers while we journey through this week. Thank you for mailing me care packages, sending me motivation texts, and constantly encouraging me that I can do it.

It isn’t always easy and it sure isn’t fun. It’s the one week that all of our worst dreams come true. On top of all the additional stress, I feel like I should be checking up on you and making sure that you all feel as loved as I do, but when you try to call, I just fall asleep on you. So here’s my big thank-you for all of your love and support.

To Daddy, thank you for always reminding me how smart and goal orientated I am. It’s nice to remember that I do know what I’m doing. But thank you for your hard words of encouragement.

To Mommy, thank you for being my shoulder to cry on and my favorite person to tell my stories to, and thank you for always asking about my day. You are a true rock and an awesome friend.

To my sister who loves me yet laughs at my struggles, I’m so excited that soon you will experience the struggles that I am experiencing. But in the meantime, thank you for being my breath of fresh air and always sharing a laugh with me.

To my brother, thank you for always being so witty and charming. I know you will be the proper ladies' man one day, but for today I’m so glad that we get to keep it to ourselves and not have to share how sweet and considerate you are.

To my roommate, thank you for doing the dishes, paying attention that I eat, and buying me snacks for when I go to the library. You are a rock star and so awesome.

To my best friends, thank you for understanding my absence and also thank you for always offering to study and cram with me. Thank you for the hashtag #ClubEllis because who else loves going to the library as much as we do! Thank you for all of your love.

And to everyone else who knows someone who has to do finals, keep them in your thoughts. Finals can really take the best out of all of us! But most importantly, thank you for always believing in me and reminding me that I can do it!
