6 Wishes We Have For Our Friends
Favim.com

Hello, friend. I just wanted to say that you are very important to me. My life wouldn't be the same without you. I love you dearly and I want all the best for you. I know you better than anyone so I know how amazing you are. Here are a few hopes I have for you:

1. I hope that you fail.

I hope that you know what failure feels like so that you can truly appreciate your successes (because you will have successes). Personal growth doesn't come from winning all the time. Personal growth comes from falling and having the humility to pick yourself up and try again.

2. I hope that you find someone who loves you even more than I do.

As your best friend, I see every aspect of your personality, the good and the bad. I know how beautiful of a person you are, inside and out. I love you more than words can say and know that you deserve the world. I know that if your significant other doesn't love you even more than I do, then he/she isn't the one. You deserve the love and kindness that you show to everyone else. Don't stop searching until you find it. My wish for you is that you'll find someone who takes your love, magnifies it and reflects it right back to you.

3. I hope you know your worth.

I hope you never look in the mirror and let your flaws cloud your vision. I hope you never hate even the tiniest part of yourself. I hope you know that you are beautiful, on the inside and the out. I hope you have high standards for yourself and never let anyone make you feel bad about it. I hope you expect the most of yourself, your life, and the people around you, because you don't deserve anything less than the best.

4. I hope that you find fulfillment.

I hope that you never regret your path in life. I hope that you love what you do in both your career and personal life. I hope you never have to wonder, "is there more?" I hope you look around at your life and are content with it. I hope that you live life with no regrets.

5. I hope that you chase your dreams.

I hope that you never stop pursuing your dreams. I hope that nothing stands in your way and that you adapt to overcome any challenges thrown your way.

6. Finally, I hope you know that I'll always be here for you.

No matter what life throws your way, I'll be there standing beside you. I'll laugh with you, cry with you, and fight with you. I'll encourage you and call you out when you're wrong. I hope you know that you can always count on me. I'll remind you of your worth and help you up when you fail. I'll be here, sending these hopes and wishes your way.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
