Can we the people give the world a day of World Peace? One day where there is no killing, no terrorism, no anything; just world peace. You may be asking yourself, what is World Peace?
World Peace, is the ideal state of freedom, peace and non-violence. There are many different definitions, but this is the best way I feel I can sum it all up.
Why can't we have a day when the sun is shining and nobody in this world has to worry about being killed or attacked?
Answer me this: Is World Peace ever going to come?
Is it just a figment of our imaginations that one day this world will stop shedding blood not just in foreign countries, but in America as well?
Answer me this: Do you WANT World Peace or THINK you want it?
If that day were to come, which I don't see in the future, it would feel unnatural for everyone, myself included. Would you know how to live not hearing that your neighbor was murdered or that there was a terrorist attract again?
It has become the norm to hear about murders and to not hear about them for a day might scare people into believing something is wrong.
Our bodies have been reprogrammed to know that there is going to be something on the news about murders or terrorism and you just shrug it off like mud on your shoes. Why?
Answer me this: Throughout this whole time reading, have you thought to yourself; is this first time I have thought about World Peace?
Just think about what a day of World Peace could do for Earth and maybe that day will come and we the people will love it so much we will try for a second day and then a third and so forth. By then World Peace would be the norm. No more terrorism, murders or unhappiness.
Doesn't that sound nice?
But when will that happen? Only you and the world have the power to do that.
