July 4th, 1776 should be a date that every American is able to recognize. No, this is not JUST a day for fireworks and cookouts, but a day spent being thankful for the freedoms we have as Americans. Thankful for our founding fathers and thankful for the soldiers who have laid down their lives, as well as the soldiers who are spending this day far away from their families. A celebration of the day we declared our independence of the United States of America from Great Britain.

No, I will not apologize for taking a lot of pride in my country and heck yes, I stand up for the Pledge of Allegiance and the National Anthem. I will stand there with beaming pride as my right-hand covers my heart while I recite the words and admire the red, white, and blue.

No, I will not apologize for the American flag hanging on my porch. Around my house, we also have blue and red line flags, which represent law enforcement and fire service. We are proud to stand behind the men and women brave enough to protect our nation, take on mother nature, and solve problems. Thank you to all of the firefighters that will be out working on firework shows and on standby in case something goes wrong. Thank you to every cop, deputy, and trooper for being out protecting us from dangers of other people and directing traffic during the 4th of July.

No, I will not apologize for the patriotic stickers on my computer. Yes, there are girls that just want to have guns. I embrace my right to bear arms and outshine the stereotype that females are clueless about firearms. I enjoy target shooting as a family pastime. I laugh at the competitions and I smile when one of my little cousins gets their first .22. I enjoy hunting for my own food during the seasons and seeing other's collections of firearms. Chances are, I am going to fire off a few rounds on Independence Day, because I'm proud to be American and own guns.

No, I will not apologize for my patriotic apparel. While celebrating our freedom on July, 4th, there is a 1776% chance I am going to wear a shirt which features the American flag and a red, white, and blue bandana. But don't worry. If you are planning to attend a fireworks show, there is probably going to be someone there painted red, white, and blue. Not only do I wear patriotic clothing during the holidays, but I enjoy wearing clothing made and designed by veterans from companies such as NineLineApparel and Grunt Style!

No, I will not apologize for writing this post. All thanks to James Madison and every man and woman fighting for our first amendment right; because of our freedom of speech, I can share my thoughts and opinions!

A huge thank you to all of my loved ones serving our country. I am proud and appreciate you.

God Bless the USA & I sincerely hope everyone has a safe 4th of the July!

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

eye roll

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"

While this question trend can get annoying, there are a couple of pros to having RBF.

Yify

Another day, another Elle Woods comment. Can’t us blondes get through the day without someone harping at us over the typical stereotypes about who we are? I never understood why a person was judged based upon the hair color they were born with, or the hair color they choose to have (unless you dye your hair blue like Kylie Jenner, I’m still trying to understand why that’s a trend). Nevertheless, as it should be assumed, not everyone is the same. Not all blondes like bright colors and Lilly Pulitzer, and not all blondes claim to identify with Marilyn Monroe. I think the best suggestion to give to people before they make such radical claims is to stop judging a book by its cover. Or in this case, stop judging a blonde by her hair color.
