#whyistayedI was ashamed to tell anyone because I thought they would think I was weak for staying, and I didn't have anywhere to go.

#WhyIStayed Bcoz I was convinced "this can't B abuse coz it couldn't ever happen to me & that THIS time he'll change & love means staying"

I thought no one would love me #WhyIStayed

#WhyIStayed Because I thought I was strong enough to take the abuse.

He told me no one will ever love me the way I am except him. But I left, and now receive the most perfect love #WhyIStayed #WhyYouShouldGo

"I also felt societal pressure to stick it out. The way I grew up, you married for life. My parents were married 47 years."#WhyIStayed #DVAM

Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
