Why Your Sisters Are Your Built-In Best Friends As Told By The Kardashians
Megan Bauman

Having not only one but twosisters has got to be the best thing ever. Being the youngest of four siblings, one older brother followed by sisters, I always had someone to look up to. One of my sisters is 28, and the other is 18 months older than me. No matter the age gap between us, we get along as if we were the same age. I know they will always be involved in my life and forever have a place in my heart, even if they manage to piss me off here and there. My sisters are my best friends, and here is why:

1. They have your back and are there for you no matter what.

2. The inside jokes you share are like no other.

No one can make you laugh until you cry like they can.

3. They toss out compliments like candy.

4. They are brutally honest.

5. You could light her hair on fire, and she would still love you.

OK, well, maybe not light your sister's hair on fire, but you get my point. They will love you unconditionally.

6. They may insult you and vise versa, but it is never taken seriously.

7. You like the same things.

Music, clothes, TV shows. You name it. If I like it, there's a 99.99 percent chance that she will like it as well.

8. They are the best listeners and advice-givers, no matter the situation.

9. You can borrow their clothes.

(Make sure you ask first... I've learned this the hard way many times.)

10. They are always down to hang out.

11. But sometimes, they can annoy the heck out of you.

12. We are all overly affectionate towards one another.

13. Their excitement is yours, too.

14. They laugh at everything you say.

15. They love snacking just as much as you do.

To my amazing sisters, I honestly don't know what I would do without you guys. You have helped shaped me into the person I am today. Thank you for the constant support and overwhelming amount of love. I couldn't have asked to be blessed with better sisters. Love you always.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
