Lets face it, we've all had times that our roommate has been more than just the person that we live with. They've been there when we need them most and are always the shoulder to cry on, the person to vent to, or the person that is always going to listen to you talk...no matter what time of the day. No matter what, we've all depended on our roommate for being more than just a roommate. Here are a few roles that show they are:
1. They are your therapist
No matter what time of day (or night), they can be helpful in any situation. Whether it's getting your life together, helping you get out of a sticky situation, or just having them listen to you vent about your life's problems, they are always roped into helping you get it together. I mean, isn't that the price you pay for living together?

2. They are your enabler
As hard as it is to try to not watch Netflix, or to online shop, or even to go out when you have work due the next day, we have to have that person (or roommate) to let you have just a little bit of fun.
3. They are your automatic breakfast, lunch, dinner, or late night date
"Do you want to grab dinner?" "Lets to go lunch!" "Food run?" are all phrases that we've used to express our desire that we do not want to eat alone and that their presence is appreciated.
4. They put up with your nonsense
We're all thankful that they accept us for who we are.
5. They can serve as your best friend
With all of that time you two spend together, your bond grows stronger.
6. They play the role as tutor:
They've probably taken the class that your struggling in and vice versa. Roommates that study together, pass together!
7. But most importantly, you know you can't live without them
You two are inseparable.
This one's for you, Spence!
