Almost everyone has a bad semester or a couple of bad semesters in college. It could be from a hard schedule or personal reasons distracting you from school work. No matter why you had a bad semester it does happen.
It feel like you are the only person that has had this bad semester but in reality you are not alone in this. Almost every college student has at least one bad semester and it doesn't define who you are as a person.
It can be hard getting your grades back at the end of the semester and seeing an ever dropping GPA. You might feel disappointed in yourself or angry at your professors. Every feeling you have is a valid feeling to be having.
Though you had a bad semester it doesn't define you as a person. No matter how bad you feel about your semester and your performance it doesn't mean you are a bad person or aren't as smart as others. Knowing that you put forth as much effort as you could is what matters.
Don't think about the others around you but think about yourself. How others preformed shouldn't effect how you feel about yourself. Most importantly you don't need to tell others how your grades turned out. That is your personal information and if you don't want to share that is your choice.
Know that how ever your semester turned out you are still the amazing person you have always been. Despite that C in a class you are still who you are and that grade shouldn't define you.
A bad semester is a learning experience. It might be hard to see in the moment but once you continue on from it you can learn what worked and what didn't and improve from there.
Don't worry about that one semester, just keep moving forward and know that you are worth it despite with your GPA says.
