Tinder is the pinnacle of modern-day dating. Online communication has been on the rise for over a decade now for professional, personal, and now romantic relationships. Tinder is great for making connections without the stress of being self-conscious, but that's not the only reason you should get Tinder. Here's five other reasons why you should get Tinder.

1) It's free!

What's better than a dating app? A free dating app. A lot of other dating sites advertise how many matches they've made, but they also charge you monthly just to get access to their platform. Tinder, however, is free to use!

2) You're new in town

If you just moved to a new city, it can get pretty lonely. What's so great about Tinder is that it doesn't have to be just for romance, it's also a great platform for making platonic connections. Every now and then you may even find someone looking for a roommate too!

3) You need something to kill the time

Have five minutes to kill? Why not swipe a few times and test out some new pick up lines. It's like a mobile game, without the ad breaks.

4) You're curious to try new things

You may be looking for something new, or maybe you're questioning what you're into. With Tinder, you can change up your preferences and try something outside of your usual interest.

5) It's nice to feel validated

Honestly, putting your best selfies out there can really boost your confidence. Even more so when that new picture gets you a few new matches!
