Have you ever had those times when you wonder if you're doing something right or wrong?
That's me right now.
Ever since I decided that I wanted to graduate early a lot of things have come my way.
Since I was around 14 years old, I enjoyed writing. Maybe not entirely about fiction or things I make up from my head.
I liked to write things about myself. Similar to a diary but as if I was guiding someone through my experiences. Detail by detail.
When I first decided which major I wanted to do, I was set on finding out what my passion was. I chose journalism. It was one of my many passions that I decided I wanted to pursue.
Time is ticking and coming closer to the time where I have to think, Is this really what I want to do?
Another thing I planned on majoring in was nursing.
Nursing was just something that I always found interesting. I know people usually hate needles, or can't stand seeing blood, but it's something that feels normal.
Of course, I'm one of those people that love watching shows like Grey's Anatomy and Chicago Hope. Medically-wise, the shows interest me.
Although I might not be a surgeon or be going into a field of that kind being an RN, some of those things you'd need to know.
This switch that I made in the major is HUGE.
I have to deal with telling my mom and family and also getting those people who are like, That's so hard, why would you even do that?
It might be annoying at first to get a lot of negative opinions from other people, but in the end, following a passion that has higher benefits for me makes life more enjoyable and college less stressful.
