This election cycle is a mess, no one will argue with you on that point. However, there is something I will most definitely argue with you about and that is voting third party or abstaining to vote. Let's be honest here for a second. Only nominees of the two major political parties have a chance of being elected. I could go into detail about why Jill Stein and Gary Johnson would not make good choices for President either, but this is completely unnecessary since there is NO chance they will get elected. A vote for a third party candidate is essentially the same as not voting, which is just as bad.

Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are our TWO choices for president this year. I'll be honest here and we all know they both suck. However, one is clearly better suited for the job than the other in most peoples' minds. I think most sane individuals can agree that Hillary Clinton would make a better president than that Fascist Oompa Loompa, but they still see her as unfitting. I agree with you there. Better than Trump is not exactly something to brag about, it's like a cavity being better than a root canal. I understand people not wanting to vote for either candidate because you think neither deserve the job, I really do, but it's time to grow up.

There is a big difference between what a Trump presidency would look like and what a Clinton Presidency will look like. Hillary winning will lead to the same old system we've been living with for hundreds of years now with corruption and scandals. Nothing new, nothing devastating. However, a Trump presidency might quite literally cause the country to collapse. Letting a man with seven bankruptcies run one of the biggest economies in the world? No thank you. Letting a man that gets worked up over tweets have access to nuclear codes, I'd like to live thanks.

This is an election where nobody wins, but it is also an election where some people have an awful lot more to lose. People deciding to vote their "conscience" generally are aiming to vote third party or abstain because they have nothing to lose to either candidate. Arguably either candidate getting elected might not actually change that much of their life. Hell, being white or a male and having trump get elected president could be quite lucrative for me actually since in his eyes these groups are obviously superior.

For those of you wanting to vote your conscience I just want you to think about the people you are affecting with your choice. The LGBTQ, the people of color, the muslims, and women. All groups of people that Trump has shown disdain for in the past and will likely enact in his policies. How will you conscience feel after Trump orders a registry of all Muslims in the state, as he deports thousands of hardworking immigrants? It may be safe for you to vote your conscience, but some people simply do not have that luxury and you need to take your neighbors into account when you vote this fall.

Vote against Trump. Vote for the conscience of the nation. Vote for HIllary.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
