There is not a day that goes by that I am not worried about something going on.
Whether it is a paper that's due or something that is going on in my personal life, I always make myself stressed.
I always want to control what is going to happen in my life so much that my mind is constantly working 24 hours a day.
Lately, I have been been listening to a song that I've heard a million times before, but never really got what it truly meant.
The song "Let It Be" by the Beatles really has helped me to realize that you can't control everything that will happen in the world. You just have to let it be.
I have been so focused on wanting everything to go according to how I have planned it, that most of the time when life gets in the way of that, my expectations get crushed.
My favorite line to this song is, "There will be an answer, let it be."
I love this line because it tells you that even though something not in your control may happen, that one day you will realize why.
The answer may not come immediately, but you must be patient and wait.
This song also relates to one of my favorite quotes:
Everything happens for a reason.
When I am in hard times or feeling down on myself, I realize that just because things did not go my way, there is a purpose of why it didn't that will benefit my life in the future.
It also reminds me that though things may be rough, you should just relax and confide in your close friends and family for support.
I now know not to worry about the future, because I know that it will eventually work itself out.
Whenever I'm stressed out or worried about the future, I just listen to this song and think about the positive things going on.
Just let it be.
