Oh "Friday Night Lights," how you some how make me miss high school. As a newly addicted avid watcher, I'm experiencing all the first time watching emotions. Of course I've picked my favorite character, which is hands down Tami Taylor (with Landry coming in second, poor forgotten Landry).
What do I love about Tami Taylor? What don't I love about Tami is an easier question to ask.
No matter who you are, you can relate to or love something about her. Remember when she was pro 'let's move away from Dillon'? Then she got dragged into going to book club and she was never the same.
Just think about what an amazing guidance counselor she was. She talked Landry up when he was down, she personally saw to it that Tyra achieved her dreams of getting out of Dillon. What a saint.
She is not afraid to say it like it is and like any good southern mama, she won't let you back out of the consequences due to your actions. Not even the great Coach Eric is exempt from this standard.
Don't forget, just because she is stern, she has her soft side too. Worried about getting into college? Don't be. Got pregnant and are afraid to tell anyone? Tami's got your back. Feeling low and worthless? Tami knows you are so much more than what you believe.
Speaking of stern, remember when she said this? Vote Tami Taylor cause Tami will fight for you. (But seriously, she was wife/mother, then guidance counselor, then principal, so why the heck not, #TamiforPrez2016) ((President of Texas obviously, cause #TexasForever))
Finally, just look at her. Tami Taylor is flawless. Hair always on point, make up done in that subtle natural perfect way, and outfits, her outfits make me want to be a principal too. She is beauty, she is grace, she should be Miss Texas (forever).
I think I need to go watch some more FNL now...
