"Stranger Things" has become the must watch Netflix show of summer. Everyone is talking about how much they love the 1980s cult TV show. There are so many small things that bring the show together to make it stand out from the other shows of summer. Here are five reasons why "Stranger Things" is a must see.

1. It's An 80s Cult Show

1980s movies are already the best so this show being set in the 1980s makes it even more binge worthy. With a fun 1980s twist, the show did a great job portraying the time period and making it appeal to this generation.

2. The First Season Is Only Eight Episodes

Since the first season is only eight episodes, it is very easy to binge watch. You won't have to spend days finishing the show. The show is a thriller so it makes it hard to stop watching so the fact that it's only eight episodes makes it even better.

3. Millie Bobby Brown

Millie Bobby Brown plays one of the main characters on the show, Eleven. Let me just say we will be seeing a lot of her in future films. She is such a great actress and only 12 years old. With her in the show, you will never want to turn the show off.

4. It's Not Another Sci-Fi TV Show

"Stranger Things" is different from other Sci-Fi shows. There is a totally different plot which makes it stand out from past shows in its genre. No one has made a sci-fi show with this twist.

5. Dustin

Dustin is a character in the show who adds comedy to the thriller. With his quirky personality, he can easily become one of your favorite characters. He is one of the characters that stands out from the very beginning.
