I said it, sorry not sorry.
Despite however you feel about Danielle Bregoli, you have to admit she took America by storm with her meme worthy mannerisms and speech patterns. She is on her way to becoming famous for being famous, but for all the wrong reasons.
The "How Bow Dat" girl is everything wrong with today's youth. She is annoying, disrespectful, brags about dropping out of school at the age of thirteen, and garnering more attention than she deserves due to social media. She does have fans that support her ironically, but the overall consensus is that Bregoli is a menace to society and needs to be stopped.
Don't get me wrong, I'm no fan of her's by any means, but what I want to know is why she is being called out for her unruly behavior while Skai Jackson can troll all over Twitter with no repercussions. In fact, she is even praised for it.
For those of you who don;t know, Skai Jackson is a fourteen teen year old child star and is roughly the same age as Bregoli. While the later got her start on a segment of Dr.Phil, Jackson rose to fame appearing in numerous Disney Channel shows which should make her behavior even more appalling.
What brought her out of Disney Channel obscurity was when she voluntarily, and unnecessarily, entered a Twitter war with singer Azealia Banks. Granted Banks was going off on a politically incorrect and insensitive Twitter rant at the time, but none of that mentioned or even directly involved Jackson, who put in her two cents by attacking the singer who was ten years her senior. Stating Banks "gave women a bad name", had a "miserable and bitter life", and referred to her as 'Azealia Stanks'. Not to mention the now socially deemed "Iconic" tweet
And now more recently, this tweet is becoming more and more viral
Danielle Bregoli has committed credit card theft and is a high school drop out while Skai Jackson just causes unnecessary havoc on the internet so the two do have major differences. But why do we praise Jackson for being"savage" and "iconic" when she behaves just as vapid as her counterpart. Is it because Bregoli fits the stigmatized white trash stereotype? Is it because people think the way Jackson tries to dress and act much older than her age is cute? Whatever the reason, how do we expect today's youth to be respectful, functioning human beings when they have these people their age being glorified. What does that say about us?
