1. Make Your Voice Heard

http://www.memes.com/meme/585618

By voting it allows the public to express there opinion on a issue or public figure. Of course you might not 100% for either candidate but you have to remember no one is perfect and by voting you are choosing which is the better of the two. Let your voice be heard because you can!

2. We are the future.

Looking around in high school I though we were screwed as a society because if this was the best we could get after 12 years of schooling the world would fall apart. Thankfully I was wrong, coming to college has made me realized that their are some intelligent people out there and their is more then just you little hometown. People from different backgrounds create diversity and new perspectives into our lives. By voting we are able to express our generations views and concerns to make the world we live in a little better then the last.

3. Millennials are the key constituency in EVERY election

Yes, you CAN make a difference! Millennials would make up 35% of the electorate if they voted! That is enough to swing any candidate. Other generations believe that young people do not care about the election therefore will not vote. Fortunately this 2016 election has made young people want there voices to be heard and the turn out has been better then the past years, this being said some young people still believe that there vote does not matter.

4. It is your Constitutional right!

Remember a little thing called The Constitution? What America was founded on? What past generations have fought for? In other countries people do not have this right to vote or even have any say in their government. Fortunately as an American citizen you have a voice in your government! If you think about it thats so cool! By just being 18+ your voice can be heard by voting! Never mind being able to protest or speak out about what is going on in government. Remember having the right to vote is a privilege.

5. Who else is going to think about college students?

No one is going to look after you. Your parents can't help you forever. Your parents are most likely thinking about their retirement not yours! You are an adult now so take control of your life and vote! By voting you allow so many opportunities for yourself to have a say in! For college students in the US what do we worry about the most? Tuition? Jobs? Retirement? It is up to us to figure this out and live in a world in which we want to live in. Its free to register so why not? So go out there and have your voice be heard! VOTE!

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
