The hit TV show Friends, which is arguably the best show ever written, featured six characters: Phoebe, Joey, Chandler, Monica, Rachel and Ross. Many of the show's fans are obsessed with Ross and Rachel's relationship. **Spoiler Alert** When Rachel got off the plane for Ross I cried for hours, but he was not the perfect man for so many reasons.

1. He was obsessed

Since they were in grade school with each other, Ross had an unrequited love for Rachel. When she suddenly came back into his life, he would obsess over who she dated, where she was, etc. This is not healthy!

2. He did not trust her

When Rachel got her dream job with the help of her friend, Mark, Ross was convinced that she was sleeping with him, when in fact she was not. He would always accuse her of doing so, which as one would imagine, would get very old very quickly.

3. He cheated on her

"WE WERE ON A BREAK!" is not a valid excuse, Ross. Ross obviously hurt Rachel, and takes no responsibility for it. He just makes the same excuse. The only reason they were taking that break was because of Ross's obsessive behavior, and he slept with the copy girl because he, of course, thought Rachel was sleeping with Mark.

4. The pro/con list

Who does that? Who makes a list of the worst things about a person that they are trying to date?

5. He yelled at her because she was trying to get ready for his event

First off, she was trying to look nice for you. Second off, downplaying a person's insecurities makes you an ass.

6. Ross invited Rachel on his honeymoon...which he was supposed to go on with Emily

And then ditches her at the gate so she has to go to her "honeymoon" alone.

7. Ross lied about the annulment

Imagine thinking you weren't married, and come to find out you are and you have been lied to this entire time. He did not get the annulment for purely selfish reasons, as well.

8. He went on dates with Rachel's sister

Seriously, who the hell does that?

9. He started dating someone while Rachel was pregnant with his child

Not to mention he acted like an idiot when she told him.

10. But then got mad when Joey had feelings for Rachel

She is not your property!! She does not belong to you! Someone else can have feelings for her!

11. He did not give Rachel the message when someone from the bar called

You are not her father, or even her boyfriend at this point, no one can control who a grown woman talks to.

While they had a happy ending together, everything leading up to it was emotionally abusive towards Rachel.
