Odyssey is a widespread website seen by many. There are over 15,000+ creators; therefore there are a number of topics, interests, and ideas being shared on this platform. While many people enjoy this type of freedom to write, there are those noodle heads out there who highly dislike the Odyssey and find it "annoying","pointless", "unoriginal", etcetera. You are entitled to your opinions, noodle heads, but Odyssey is quite helpful to many others for a multitude of reasons.

1. Odyssey Allows Creators to Express Themselves

As do other websites, but with the Odyssey allows conversations to formed from it.

2. It Allows You to Find Others With Your Opinions/Ideas

Many people have thoughts and truthfully think they're the only ones with those thoughts, but with the Odyssey, you are bound to find someone with similar beliefs.

3. It Helps People Deal With Certain Issues

I'm not going too much into detail here because this could be a whole article itself. The title speaks for itself.

4. Odyssey Gives People Something to Feel Proud of

A week after each article is posted, we get an email stating how many views are article has gotten. It allows us to feel accomplished with the views and interactions it has had.

5. It Allows Us to Explore Different Writing Styles

We are not required to write anything we do not want to nor do we have to write in the same style each time. We are allowed to explore our options.

6. We Are Given a New Family

As cheesy as it sounds, we are given a new family. Odyssey connects us with a community and we can share opinions about articles or have random conversations about what restaurant has the best pizza. This gives us a sense of belonging as well as gives us people we can ask for help. They help you with not only article related problems but school or personal problems when needed. Odyssey's platform allows us to meet new amazing people who you can call family and that is a big deal to many of us on the Odyssey.
