There are many times that I just need to take a break from life and find a way to escape. One of the ways I do this is by taking time to listen to music. I am not particularly interested in just one genre, because I like a lot of songs that come from all types of genres. It is reassuring to be able to plug in headphones or blast music to escape.
It is even fun to add in some dance moves. Music is nice because with of technology, you can take your music virtually anywhere. I could be sitting at the barn and plug in some headphones or workout at the gym to my favorite playlist.
On stressful school days, I like to come back to my dorm room and unplug for a little while by playing some of my favorite songs. Perks to my roomie who puts up with me for awhile! It gets me into a better mood and helps me to be motivated to get some of the homework done ahead of time. Many different people find ways to relieve stress, but one of mine happens to be singing horribly at the top of my lungs to good music. What is your way to relieve stress?
