November....what a perfect month. It is full of all the best things such as Thanksgiving, those cozy fall days, the beginning of snow, and most importantly my birthday.
I have always loved November and not just because of my birthday. It has been one of those months that just make you cozy and happy inside. I love the fact that Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and my birthday all fall within the same week for me.
November days where the air is crisp and cool. Where the leaves crinkle underneath those cute boots you own. You get to wear all the cutest clothes from sweaters to warm fuzzy socks and everything in between. You can hold that Starbucks hot chocolate in your hands which immediately warms your body.
It is also the time where there is the possibility of snow which is always good. Now this year the snow has already came, but that okay because I'm sure November will receive more. It is that time where the weather does drop significantly and it becomes even harder to get out of bed.
Another great thing about November is daylight savings when we gain another hour of sleep because we all know I love my sleep. It has those great days for movie nights and staying in and just eating delicious meals.
Another reason November is the best month is because it includes Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is my favorite meal of the whole year and most importantly my favorite holiday.
Now, this Thanksgiving is going to be a little different for me in terms of the fact I am now a vegetarian so I will not be eating the turkey, but in all honesty, the turkey is not even my favorite part.
I love the vegetables, potatoes and especially the gravy. The bread that we are given is amazing as well and anyone that knows me can agree I will be going up for multiple rounds of food. Wherever my Thanksgiving is hosted which I believe it is my house I love it.
I can eat so much then take that nap right after and then go right back to eating. In the morning you can see my in Downtown Detroit either watching the parade or running in the Turkey Trot. Either way, you will see me living it up down there.
I also love Thanksgiving because all my family has come together with family from out of state and in state. It makes it all feel like home. Then that next day of Black Friday where I can do so much shopping with great deals.
One final reason I love November is that it's my birthday month. It is a day that I for some reason have always loved. I have loved celebrating another year of my life that will allow me to grow and change for the better. Plus I do kind of love getting presents as well of course. I also love that all my friends and family are around me during this time because it fills me with love.
These are a few reasons why November is my favorite month and I think everyone should see the beauty in November.
