Kenny Chesney has been my A1 since Day 1. He knows where his home is and he's proud to sing about it. He can sing basically anything you put in front of him. He's a legend. You don't have to like country music to like him. 14 out of his 20 recorded albums have been certified gold or higher, making 40 of those songs top 10 singles. He has sold 30 million albums worldwide. He likes to drink and have a good time, and that's what living is all about. He knows how to put on a show and put you in your feels at the same time.
Kenny Chesney lived "Where I Grew Up", K-Town. I'm from "A Small Town", and so is he. "Back Where I Come From" he just lived Down The Road. Right now he's "Living In Fast Forward," one day he'll tell his drivers, "Somebody Take Me Home" and he'll come back to "Reality", but he "Ain't Back Yet". Kenny is a "Wild Child", "When The Sun Goes Down." He doesn't like making people feel "Small Y'all" so don't try to say that he does. He used to be one of "The Boys Of Fall," but now he just watches them.
He tells us, "American Kids" , "Don't Blink" because our lives "Don't Happen Twice." He taught us that life is easier when you have "No Shoes, No Shirt, and No Problems." He shows us how to "Spread The Love" during the "Summertime". "That Lucky Old Sun" gets to witness us having us a good time under the "Coconut Tree," somewhere "Coastal," with "Nowhere To Go, Nowhere To Be." When I was "Young," I would spend "Seven Days" a week with my papaw in his "Old Blue Chair," listening to Kenny, wondering "How Forever Feels." Man that was "The Good Stuff." Whenever I sang along to those songs, he made me "Feel Like A Rock Star," but now it's all "Better As A Memory" . "Everybody Wants To Go To Heaven," and now he's there flying "Round And Round." He's watching me "Live Life On A Rock," telling me to "Live A Little."
See, Kenny is more than just "Noise." His music is "Setting The World On Fire." Now a days, we like to listen to Kenny while sipping "Hemingway's Whiskey" , "Happy On The Hey Now" , " 'Til It's Gone." When I hit "Rock Bottom" and my "Demons" start to "Scare Me" , "I Stand Up" and say this can happen later, "Just Not Today" , "Save It For A Rainy Day." When I listen to Kenny Chesney, I find myself "On The Coast Of Somewhere Beautiful," yeah, "That's What I Need To Do." Sometimes I go for a "Wild Ride" trying to "Live These Songs," wow, last night "Got A Little Crazy" there's actually still a "Keg In The Closet."
Kenny's music inspires me to live my life. Maybe one day I'll live on "Boats" with the "Soul Of A Sailor" at my "El Cerrito Place" singing "I'm Alive" while holding a "Pirate Flag." Kenny's lyrics are pure "Magic." When he sings, I don't need anything but "The Road And The Radio." His songs were "The Big Revival" to country music. Kenny, my dude, "Sing 'Em Good My Friend."
