Kat Stratford is everything I want to be in life and more. She's my role model.

The main protagonist of "10 Things I Hate About You," Kat Stratford, is the most bomb character in any movie I have ever seen. Here are 10 reasons I want to be just like her.

1. She's not afraid to be herself.

Kat Stratford does not give a flipping fladoodle what you think about her. She doesn't listen to the mainstream music or drive a cool car. She's Kat and she's awesome.

2. Kat questions male dominance.

Kat is a feminist and isn't afraid to speak her mind. Especially when it comes to boys thinking they're better than her. Throughout the whole movie, she shows demonstrates that she will not let a boy push her around. Her self-confidence is award worthy.

3. Even though she and her sister may fight, she still shows her love.

Even though Bianca is basically the whole reason for the mess in the movie, Kat fulfills her big sister duties. I don't want to spoil anything but the way their relationship evolves warms my heart. :)

4. She's a risk taker.

Even if she gets rejected she still is a huge risk taker. I love that and I admire it. Kat really lives life the way she wants. It's great.

5. SHE HAS BALLS.

Like Patrick Verona said, "it's not every day you find a girl who would flash someone to get you out of detention". She's one of a kind.

6. She puts herself first.

This could be one of the main reasons I want to be Kat Stratford. She represents individuality. She doesn't sacrifice her happiness because of what other people think.

7. She can stand up for herself and what she wants.

Parents are scary. But, Kat has been respectful her whole life and knows whats best for herself. The way she stands up to her dad is inspirational.

8. She's so fun.

Why not dance to Biggie on a table and go on a paintball date? Literally, date goals and confidence goals.

9. She cleans up nice (but only because SHE wants to).

(they're just so cute) THE HAIR. THE NECKLACE. Her dress is really adorable too but this is GIF is everything to me. They're adorable and Kat looks amazing. Also, Patrick gets her favorite band to play which is everything I want in a boy

10. She knows what she wants.

I don't think this needs much explanation. She's honest with herself and with others.

Kat Stratford is everything I want to be in life. I'm working on it I promise. :)

I just really love this movie.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
