Hearts broke all around the nation when JoJo Fletcher poured her love out to most recent bachelor Ben Higgins, only for him to confess that he loved someone else more than he loved her. Not only did JoJo not deserve to be heartbroken, she did not deserve to be broken up with because Ben loved someone else more. As you can probably tell by the beginning of this article, I am fully a member of #TeamJoJo.
As an avid Bachelor Nation member, I can say that this season's ending was one of the hardest I have watched. There were ups and downs, but most importantly, the bachelor told TWO (count them, TWO) women that he loved them. I don't know about you, but that infuriated me more than Ben's outfits on the show. Not only is that insulting to the women who are competing for his love an affection, but it is also rude.
Sadly, JoJo got the short end of the deal when she was sent packing during the season finale. But it's okay America, because during the after show, Bachelor Nation revealed that JoJo is the newest Bachelorette, and her season to find true love will begin this May!
Not only is this the best news I heard all season, but this is going to be the best season of The Bachelorette because JoJo is the best pick. Here's why:
1. She is the most honest person the show has ever seen.
Throughout her entire time on The Bachelor, America--nor Ben himself--never had any doubts about JoJo. She was honest and let Ben know where she was mentally at all times, and I think this summer's contestants will love that about her.
2. She deserves a second chance.
I don't have to tell you how I felt when she was dumped, but she deserves someone better than Ben Higgins. JoJo deserves someone who is going to look her in the eyes, say "I love you", and actually mean it.
3. She's gorgeous, obviously.
I mean look at her. Do I need to explain any more?
4. She will find her True Love.
JoJo is a catch. There isn't a doubt in my mind that she will be leaving the show empty-handed. Any guy would be lucky to have her.
5. America is rooting for her.
Let's just take a minute to put ourselves in JoJo's shoes. Any women who gets broken up with, when she is absolutely in love, deserves better. America knows this, and is excited to see her be so happy. After all, we've all been dumped, and we all deserve a second chance.
