In October of 2001, American television was blessed by what has come to be known as both the most accurate and the funniest medically based show to date: Scrubs. Best friends John Dorian and Christopher Turk graced our screens, and we couldn't help but fall in love with their dorky love for each other. When I think "bromance," these two are the first to come to mind, even before Chandler and Joey. They will always be my favorite, and if you've ever watched the show, it's clear why. It's time to honor the two guys that show us just how cool it is when male friends love each other like any friends should!

1. They shared everything with each other.

When Turk knew he wanted to marry Carla, JD was the first person he went to about it.

2. They always knew they could hug it out.

They hugged like once an episode. At least.

3. They always kept each other in line.

That's what a good friend is for, right? They let you be silly, but within reason.

4. They shared similar interests.

Having stuff in common is foundational to a solid friendship.

5. They made each other laugh.

These two knuckle heads always kept each other in stitches.

6. They were open and honest about their feelings.

Intimacy and openness is vital in any healthy relationship.

7. They never shied away from complimenting each other.

...Even if it got a little weird sometimes.

8. They made (hilariously) great roommates.

Because best friends love hanging out all the time, and it's even better if they get to go to the same home at the end of the say.

9. They could admit that their love for each other was something you can't find in every friendship.

But they saw it as all the more reason to cherish it.

10. They were always by each other's side.

Through the ins and the outs, the up and the downs.

11. And, of course, EAGLE.

I know, I know. You're totally thinking "#goals" right now, and you aren't wrong. These two broke down all the barriers of what "male friendship" is supposed to look like, and it's awesome. Aren't you jealous? Well, you don't have to be! Go out there, and build those strong male friendships! I believe in you.

Now, go find your best friend, tell them how awesome they are, and turn on Netflix so you can watch Scrubs!

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
