In today's world, so many of us find ourselves in the depths of worldy things: social media, the latest trends, shopping, the list goes on. We find ourselves so concerned with what everyone else is doing and where everyone else is, that we lose sight of who we really are. Although so many of my friends and people I see day to day are consumed with what they look like and what everyone else is doing, I have always been the simple girl. Here are a few reasons why it's cool to be the simple girl.
We don't always need to look perfect.
Make-up is great and all, but it isn't always necessary. We like to look good for important events and fun nights out, but it's not the end of the world when our mascara runs out. We can get ready in under thirty minutes, go to the nail salon a few times a year, probably have never even thought of getting a spray tan and still probably look hotter than you.
We're really easy to please.
It doesn't matter where we go or what we do. We don't need some fancy outing or the most amazing place to hang out because all that matters to us is that we're with you. Don't worry about impressing us all the time either because we like you just the way you are.
We're confident in ourselves.
Sometimes we might get a little nervous about different things, but for good reason; because we care. But overall, we are too confident in ourselves and in our relationships to be worrying about minor details or occurrences that don't really matter.
We don't just chase anything.
Whether it be a boy, a degree or a dream, we're not just chasing anything. We chase the important things and the people that matter. We chase because we really care and I promise you, we do not waste our time on just anything.
We're low-maintenance.
Overall, we're good with anything. We're up for anything at anytime and can go anywhere last minute. We'll make crazy memories with you, have fun with you and will always show you a good time.
A simple girl just seems more human, natural and attractive. When you come across one, don't let them go because they're cooler than your average.
