Every girl will or has experienced the 2 am calls from a boy for only his benefit. We’ve all had it happen, but why is it better to be the girl he can’t have when he calls? If a real man wants you, he will do whatever it takes to be with you.
These are things I have come up with that shows why you should even bother to pick up the phone.
1. “Benefit Hour”
I call “benefit hour” the time between 12 am – 4 am. It’s the night owl call. If a guy calls you between these hours only,
it's only for his benefit. You know it and believe it. He may say whatever it takes, but if he is not willing to call you at a reasonable hour with the same statements, then DO NOT listen. It could be just the alcohol talking.
2. Girl Power
LADIES, you have the power. If you answer that phone, you are giving him power. You do everything he says, you are giving him power. This generation has concluded that guys are jerks and all they want is to hook up. Guess what, that’s because have given them that ability. To the girls who cry because he won’t call you back the next day, realize he got what he wanted. Stay strong and respect yourselves, and men will respect you! Women, realize that we were put here for men, and we have the power to earn their respect!
3. Test Him
Say he calls you one night and tells you that he likes you, blah, blah, blah. Blow him off. If he calls you the next day, then maybe he was serious. That’s if he didn’t call at 2 am again. If he doesn’t, then that just saved you a heartbreak. If it’s what did not get what he wanted, he will go somewhere else. That will show you exactly what his intentions were.
4. You are a diamond, not a stone.
Ladies, you do not deserve to be that late-night call. You are a diamond, not a stone. Demand your ground and hold your standards high. Respect yourself and you will get respected. You only get hurt if you allow the person to hurt you.
5. Protect your Rep
No girl wants to be called a “hoe”. Don’t give them that opportunity. Giving into that phone call at 2 am may give them that availability. Not that you should care about other people’s opinion, but it’s good to keep a good word for yourself.
