Why I Gave Up On Animal Crossing A Couple Months After Its Release

I have not touched Animal Crossing: New Horizons in a couple of weeks. I know this may come as a shock to many people as I have put out a lot of content of me playing and sharing the game. I've talked about things I specifically hate about the game, you can read that article here. The new Animal Crossing game is fun, there is no doubt about that. But as the weeks went on, the slow-paced content started to get to me. The way the game is set up, there is only a certain number of things you can do to your island before the game tells you to wait till the next day to advance. I put a lot of hours on to my island, not as much as others, but enough to the point where it became a chore.

For me personally, as I developed my island more and more, I noticed I had a lot of work ahead of me if I wanted to make the best island there is imaginable. It comes down to money, or rather bells, the game's currency. You see, everything cost money and the only true way to earn lots and lots of money is to either grind or pay individuals on eBay to send you expensive items to sell. For me personally, I want to move all the houses on my island, but I don't know where to. On top of that, the ideas I do have involve a lot of terraforming and I personally don't have the energy right now to do all that. Moreover, as I mentioned before everything costs money and with the limit of one construction project per day, it just isn't worth it right now to do anything with it.

I feel bad, because I just have my switch sitting on my desk not getting any attention. I play Just Dance from time to time, but most days I am lazy. Since we are all social distancing, It is hard to get people to come over and play together whether that's Mario Kart or Just Dance. The developers are slowly releasing updates to Animal Crossing but until something extraordinary comes out, I don't see myself spending too much time with the game. Hopefully, things change soon!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
