Why Halloween is My Favorite Holiday

Ever since I was little, Halloween has been my favorite holiday hands-down. I don’t know if it was because I loved candy and dressing in costume or maybe because October 31st happens to be my birthday; but I loved it and still do. Here’s a list of reasons why I think Halloween is so awesome!

- Free candy

- Getting dressed up in awesome costumes

- Seeing everyone’s spooky decorations


- The weather is beautiful for Halloween festivities

- Seeing the joy on little kids’ faces as they trick or treat

- Going to haunted houses (and other activities like carving pumpkins, hayrides and corn mazes too)

- Watching Hocus Pocus, Halloweentown, and scary movies to prepare for Halloween night

-Anyone can enjoy Halloween, from age 5 to 85

-It’s the start of a string of other fun holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas, and the New Year

-Basically every day in October leads up to Halloween fun
