Who doesn't love their grandma? Free food, random gifts and endless love. I'm lucky enough to have three grandmothers and a great grandmother, so I receive tons of food and double the love!

But let's list a few more reasons why grandmas are the absolute best.

1. When you go visit they always offer you food.

Sometimes if you are lucky, they already have a hot meal ready. Every time I go visit my great grandmother she always offers me ice cream or cookies. Half the time I do give in and leave weighing 10 pounds heavier.

2. They always surprise you with little gifts or giveaways.

So far, I have been given leggings, two sweaters, a cardigan and earrings. What college student doesn't love free things?

3. You basically have a second mom.

I can go to either of my grandmothers with any troubles I have. Each one having very encouraging advice.

4. Whenever you go sleep over, it is like staying at a hotel.

Clean sheets, warm towels and a complimentary breakfast.

5. She knows what she is talking about.

When it comes to boys, stress, and everyday life she always knows what to say.

6. She knows how to get the job done.

Whether it's cleaning up a big mess or throwing a big family get together, it's always flawless.

7. She's a memory keeper.

Almost every story starts with, "Back in the day..." or, "When I was your age..." She always tells the best stories.

8. They are always thinking of you.

I love getting sweet text randomly in the day, spontaneous visits and invites to go over and swim.

9. They will always know how to make you smile.

When you are down in the dumps, a grandma will always put a smile on your face.

10. She wants the absolute best for you.

A grandma will always go out of the way to make sure you are happy.

11. They will always love you unconditionally.

Her love for you will only grow.
