It’s almost my favorite time of the year… Fall! Fall is by far my favorite season. Sure, summer is cool and so is spring, and winter has Christmas, but fall is my favorite. It doesn’t matter who you are, there is at least one thing that you love that has to do with fall. If you don’t like fall, then check out this list of reasons and I may be able to convince you.
1. It's not too cold and not too hot.
Let’s be honest, summer is great and all but sometimes it is so hot that you can barely breathe! And don’t get me started on winter, it’s so cold I’m afraid to breathe and my mouth and tongue freeze. Fall is great because it’s warm when the sun is out and when the sun goes down, it’s that perfect weather when you can have a fire and all you need is a light jacket.
2. Like I said above, perfect weather for a bonfire.
I don’t know about you, but sitting around a fire with friends is one of my favorite things to do. It’s great to just sit there and talk about whatever and just bond with friends. It’s so peaceful.
3. Football starts back up.
Okay, so don’t hate me, but I’m not the biggest football fan. However, I know a lot of people love football so this has to cheer you up. And even though I don’t like watching football on tv, I was always down to go to a high school football game.
4. The color of the leaves.
Honestly, this is probably my favorite part of fall. I love seeing the leaves when they start to change. The reds, yellows, and oranges just look so good together. Call me crazy, but I look forward to it every year.
5. School is back in and you can see your friends.
So this one is kind of a give and take situation. Sure, school isn’t always that great, but seeing your friends is priceless. To me, totally worth it. (And I guess I’m a nerd because I like school too.)
6. Long Sleeves!
Okay, this one is probably just me, but I love long sleeves and hoodies. It just makes me feel so comfortable and warm and I love it…. Okay, I’m weird.
