Nonviolent And Unapologetic

Why Donald Trump shouldn't be President.

Nonviolent And Unapologetic

Let’s talk about our good friend Donald Trump and why I don’t think that he should be the next president of the United States. There are many reasons, but I’ll just list a few.

  • He thinks that building a wall along the Mexican border to keep Mexicans out is a good idea when we all know that’s just him being a racist and then he says that Mexico is going to pay for the wall. Don’t believe me? Check this out.
  • He is calling for a total shutdown of Muslims entering the United States. This is blatantly racist and is omitting an entire religion for what reason? Not all Muslims are terrorists. There is no reason for Muslims to be stereotyped this way; it’s not fair to them.
  • He jokes about banging his daughter all the time. In 2006, he made a comment on The View about her posing for Playboy and at the end of his statement he claimed, “I’ve said if Ivanka weren’t my daughter, perhaps I’d be dating her.” Here’s a link for that here as well. What kind of man says that about his daughter?
  • He allows people to be abused at his rallies. A man, recently, punched an African American man who was leaving Trump’s rally and Trump might pay for his legal fees! He told his “people” to look into it. John McGraw, the man charged with punching the black protestor said, “The next time we see him, we might have to kill him.” What kind of president would pay fees for a man who might kill a protestor? I’m just flabbergasted that he would even think that this would be okay. Here is that link as well:
  • And he tweeted in May of 2013, “26,000 unreported sexual assaults in the military-only 238 convictions. What did these geniuses expect when they put men & women together?” Really America? Really? This is the guy you want as president. Still not believing me? Check this link out.

A lot of people don’t understand who they are voting for. Cosmopolitan asked three college students to explain why the support him and their answers were so ridiculous. One girl said that he’s a “doer” and another one said that for him to make America great again, he has to make “America a Christian nation again.” I would just like to take a pause right there and put in my two cents on this for a moment.

As a Christian, Donald Trump is not making America great nor will he ever. This man is an idiot and he has a lot of people supporting him through his idiocy. No one sees the immediate problem with this. He is trying to build a wall to shut out Mexico, it seems like be blatantly supports rape and he is racist which we all know and he doesn’t know politics. He is also not doing anything to stop the damage caused at his rallies. People are being shoved and pushed out of his rallies just because of the color of their skin most of the time. Even those that protest peacefully are shunned by the people of his rallies. How does this depict a man that’s going to make a Christian nation again?

As a Christian, you are called to love one another and accept no matter what. To say that all Muslims are terrorists is not something that a Christian would say. Donald Trump is far from making this country “great”. What does great even mean in this situation? He is not trying to make America any better. He’s trying to make it worse if you ask me and if you vote for him, you must have no morals or no brains. This is getting ridiculous America. Please open your eyes.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
