What happened to your dreams?
I know, I know, life got in the way and you had to get real about what you were going to do.
You let go of your dreams and they slowly floated away to become a distant memory.
You stopped dreaming altogether.
You gave up on the possibility that you could have the life you desire, whatever that may have been for you. What got in the way of living a fulfilling, free, and passionate life?
Your dream is personal, that is why it was given to you. You can’t expect other people to really understand what it means to you or how it makes you feel.
There are so many possibilities, and one quality of a dreamer or a visionary is a willingness to see possibilities or potential where no one else does. A little bit of crazy actually makes life pretty interesting!
When it comes down to it, reaching for our dream doesn’t have to completely risk our sense of security though. There are calculated risks we can take. It doesn’t have to be all-or-nothing. There is most likely a way you can work toward your dream while maintaining the safety you currently possess. Get creative!
You may believe you’re too old, too young, too ugly, not experienced enough or talented enough.
Whatever your limiting belief might be, realize that there is an example out there of someone in a very similar situation who pushed through these negative beliefs or circumstances to make their dreams a reality.
You have to dare to dream in this world! Yes, you!
When was the last time you were willing to dream?
I’m not referring to dreams outside of the realm of possibility. I’m referring to the dreams that you know could be a reality and that set your heart on fire; the things that have always excited you!
“Life is a daring adventure or nothing.” – Helen Keller
If your dreams are big enough, you will have stepping stones of success along the way. Small achievements that can be celebrated and reviled in. These small victories can help push you through to the next goal and soon enough, your dreams will come true.
