You've been there. You know you've been there. The place where your meal is delivered to you in about 2 minutes or less. The place where your "thank you" is always replied to with a "my pleasure." The place where you can ask for your fries to be extra crispy, and they actually put forth the effort to do it for you. I think I'm safe to assume that you have stepped foot into a Chick-Fil-A once or twice, and I hope you loved it like I love it. Yes, this article is just going to be me bragging about why Chick-Fil-A is awesome.
Try to compare the taste and freshness of Chick-Fil-A to any other fast-food restaurant. It doesn't come close to anything McDonald's or Burger King makes, and it most definitely doesn't have a shot at competing with Taco Bell or Wendy's. I'm not saying those places don't also have good food, but I am saying that their food does not measure up to how good Chick-Fil-A's food is. Whenever I order anything from Chick-Fil-A, I know that what I'm getting is going to be hot and fresh. I know that where I'm going to sit is (usually) going to be clean, and I know I'm going to be asked if I need anything else at least two or three times. Where else can you get such great service?
Unlike some restaurants, where you get a condescending look or sneer if you ask for something like extra sauce, or better fries, or an order change, the workers at Chick-Fil-A don't seem to mind (at least for the sake of their job), and they give you what you want. Their overall genuine kindness is something I really enjoy when I go there, because even though I know they have to be nice, most of what they're saying seems genuine. Sometimes they might even give you a compliment or two.
The only complaint I would probably give them is that if you leave their fries out for more than 20 minutes, they are pretty much ruined. I'm serious. For some reason within the first couple minutes of getting your fries from them with your order, they are crispy, greasy deliciousness. But if you have a long drive home and you leave your bag open by accident, you just ruined your fries. Because after that 20-minute mark of being exposed they are cold and have different, blander taste.
Regardless of that one little complaint, I really do see Chick-Fil-A as the best fast food restaurant out there right now. I'm not saying all the other ones are bad, but they do need to step their game up to be able to be on the same level of quality as Chick-Fil-A. Also, their chicken sandwich without pickles will ALWAYS be better than with pickles.
