Cats are adorable, fluffy, and dependable. They are always there for you and would never hurt you or break your heart. I mean I don't have any problems with having a boyfriend, but since the single cat lady life is looking like a reality more and more every day, I might as well put my love toward those who love me as much as I love them. Here are 11 reasons why cats are better than boyfriends.

1. They are cats.

How could you not love them? They are literally perfect.

2. Cats will listen to you vent.

Even though they don't understand you, it's comforting knowing that you have someone that will just listen to what you have to say. Except for the occasional meow, they don't ask questions or reply to what you are saying. They are always ready to hear about how your day went. Plus, they won't yell at you or put you down.

3. Cats won't ever judge you for your appearance.

Cat's don't care about how pretty you are. They don't care that you look like a hot mess. They love you for you.

4. Cats would love to take naps with you and cuddle.

Unlike your boyfriend who might complain, cats would love to stay in and take a nap.

5. They won't cheat on you.

You can trust your cat to not cheat on you because they love you so much.

6. Cats are cuter than guys AND they're fluffy.

Cats are so soft and cuddly.

7. They can make your really bad day a little better.

They know when you're sad. People and boys might have made you feel awful, but cats know just how to make you feel better.

8. They will take countless pictures with you.

They won't complain about the 1,000 redo's you have to take just to get the perfect picture.

9. Cats are the best to Netflix and chill with.

They won't complain about never having any other plans. They are fine with binge watching Pretty Little Liars with you.

10. They will NEVER break your heart.

Cat's will never break your heart or make you cry. I mean sure, that occasional scratch might make your eyes well up a bit, but they will never leave you like boys would.

11. They will love you unconditionally.

They will love you through your good days and bad days, so if you're lacking some love in your life, I would recommend getting a cat because you could never go wrong with that decision.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
