Carrie Bradshaw of Sex and The City is, without a doubt, one of the most popular leading ladies television has ever seen. Many viewers see her as smart, stylish, funny, and just all around awesome; however, Carrie, you haven't fooled all of us. Friend groups have fought for almost a decade over which girl in the squad is the "Carrie." Ladies, here are ten reasons why none of us should want to be the Carrie.
1. She ruined her relationship with the perfect
man…twice.
Aidan Shaw was actually perfect. He was kind, smart, handsome as heck, hard working and he bought Carrie’s entire apartment building for her so she could have somewhere to live. Unfortunately, Carrie Bradshaw is an idiot and not only did she cheat on Aidan with a married man, BUT when Aidan was ready to marry her she freaked out. Despite the fact that she literally begged him to come back, she ended up ending their relationship because she was too afraid to commit. 
2. Her life revolves around men.
Almost every conversation she ever had involved a man or a relationship in some aspect. She is obsessed with men, and I’m almost positive that she always needs to have one in her life to feel fulfilled. So much for girl power, Carrie.
3. She’s fiscally irresponsible.
Can someone please explain to me how a woman who writes a column for a New York City newspaper could ever afford an Upper East Side apartment, nearly 300 pairs of designer shoes, cab rides everywhere, and dinner and drinks out every single night? Not to mention when she was losing her apartment, she realized she spent every cent she ever owned on shoes, so she had to pawn Charlotte’s old engagement ring for the money.
4. She’s selfish and couldn’t care less about her friends' problems.
I’m pretty sure you could tell Carrie that your dog died, you fell off of a bridge and broke your arm, and your house just burned down all in the same day and she would respond with, “Oh I’m so sorry sweetie…but did you heard what Big did last night??” She is undoubtedly narcissistic, and never truly listens to her friend’s issues. Infertility, divorce, unexpected pregnancy and cancer are all issues that her friends have had to deal with, essentially without her help. And the worst moment of all time was when she sent Aidan to help Miranda after she seriously injured herself while naked.5. Her fashion...
I’m just going to leave this here.
6. She’s such a snob.
Carrie is one of those annoying city-goers who never leaves their borough, never takes the subway, and essentially only lives in NYC to say they live in NYC. 
7. Her writing is questionable.
I wonder how many rhetorical and senseless questions Carrie has asked herself throughout the series. Whether or not she has ever written something of substance is highly questionable.
8. She’s basically helpless.
What kind of person, whose entire career revolves around her computer, doesn’t back it up? When Carrie’s computer crashed, and she was actually surprised, I wanted to break my face. Also, that hilarious time when she lost Aidan’s dog on that walk and she moped around in the rain for 3 hours only to realize Pete found his way back home before her.
9. She slut shames Samantha constantly.
It’s a shame that a woman who writes about sex for a living can be so judgmental of another woman’s sex life. Though it may be sly, she was constantly throwing jabs at Samantha for the way she chose to live her life.
