7 Reasons Why Bills Fans Make The Best Girlfriends

Right after the home opener of the Bills game, I realized how great the girls Bills fans really are. I mean, with all of the drinking, music, hooting, hollering and trash talk you would think that some girls would be utterly annoyed. However, looking around and noticing myself and others, I began to realize why Bills fans can truly make the best girlfriends around. Here are seven reasons why.

1. We don't expect much.

In fact, we expect next to nothing. We'll think you refilling our glass of wine or getting us another beer is just the bees' knees.

2. We're very forgiving.

Our tolerance for screw ups is extremely high due to the Bills being massive screw-ups for the majority of our life. There's always a second chance coming your way... or 35. Who's counting?

3. We're friendly.

We'll give you the shirt off of our back if you need it. Literally, it gets cold out there while cheering on the team and if you didn't dress warm enough chances are we have enough warmth that Alpaca's carry on our bodies.

4. We're adaptable.

Extremely. Adaptable. Whatever comes our way whether it be snow, rain, sleet, sunshine or possibly even a tornado we are ready for the worst and hoping for the best! We can always take a situation and see it in the most optimistic way possible.

5. We can handle our booze

Let's be real, anyone that knows a Bills' tailgate knows there's tons of drinking involved. And any girl that can't hang really isn't a true Bills fan. If you get too drunk and can't make it into the game why did you even come?

6. We're genuinely nice

Unless you're someone coming at us from the opposing team, we really are kind to everyone. So, if we're hanging out with your friends, you better believe we're on good behavior.

7. We're fun.

At Bills' games there are plenty of fun things to do. Such as dizzy bat, beer pong, jumping on tables and the tree stump and hammer game. Although, we leave the jumping on tables up to the guys, but we love to have just as much fun as our boyfriends.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
