Let’s get real, bacon is better than you and it’s better than me. There are not a lot of things that live up to bacon’s standards. More than likely, if you try to live up to bacon’s standards, you’re going to fail. On that note, I have yet to meet a single person who does not enjoy eating bacon (besides vegans, of course). This is one of those foods that can literally be eaten at every meal, without questions being asked. Bacon and eggs for breakfast? Sure! Bacon on your cheeseburger? I’m down! Bacon wrapped steak? Any day! So if you add bacon to any other food, odds are that food is going to be 20 times more delicious than before.
Now let's talk about Wendy's. Wendy's has got it going on. They know what we want. UPDATE: we want bacon and we want it NOW! Baconator, Son of Baconator, Baconator Fries, Junior Bacon Cheeseburger, and more are available for purchase for all your bacon loving needs. I can easily eat two Junior Bacon Cheeseburgers without hesitation ... because who likes to eat healthy anyway? We're young, we can handle this.
Just as mesmerizing as the taste of bacon ... is the smell. The smell and the sound of bacon cooking can instantly make me hungry. I can't explain why this happens, but something about cooking bacon makes me excited. Dear Lord, I sometimes wish everything smelled like bacon. There is nothing to compare to that glorious aroma. Such a large majority of consumers have showed love towards this lovely food that there is now an endless variety of novelty products available for bacon lovers everywhere. Bacon scented air fresheners, bacon band-aids, bacon toothpaste, and even bacon flavored sodas. One day I walked into a candle store and I was so captivated that I almost bought a bacon scented candle ... because who doesn't need that in their life?
For reasons mostly unknown, bacon just makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside. For a person who doesn't feel a lot, this is a miracle and a half. The food just reminds me of a simpler time when I had zero cares and responsibilities. I would wake up to the sounds and smells of my father making me breakfast on Saturday morning, and all would be right in the world. I didn't have to worry about a thing. Now, there are a load of tasks and goals I have to accomplish this year. Being most of the way through college, I often look forward to the future and it terrifies me, but things like bacon have a tendency to bring me back to the good days.
Overall, bacon is life. The end. We obviously take our food very seriously.
