I would never abort my child. That statement is abrupt, I know. I am not saying that I have a child. And I do not know what it is like to be pregnant or have an abortion. I am saying that I currently cannot see me having an abortion at any time in my life. This is my choice. I have a choice on whether I want to grow a baby in my stomach and become a mother to a child. I also have a choice to abort my child. I have a choice to think of myself over the few bundles of tissues that are growing in my uterus. I have a choice to become a productive member of society before taking on the role of mom. This is my choice.

I always saw the comments regarding abortion. People made it seem like a woman was a murderer for terminating her own pregnancy. People would ostracize the woman by saying things like: “You are killing God’s children,” and “I hope you rot in prison.” This whole theory that a woman is killing a person by abortion is outlandish. The fetus is not a living, breathing, and sustainable organism. In our country, abortion is not murder just like killing a pregnant woman is considered a singular homicide. One cannot determine life outside of the uterus, thus it is nearly impossible to declare that an abortion is killing a self-sustainable fetus.

In the political world, many Christians support conservative Republican candidates that want to make abortion illegal. Christians believe that all lives matter, and that one cannot kill God’s potential to make another child. This is completely hilarious. One cannot express that the child has a right to life while simultaneously saying that the mother’s life is not as important. The mother is not worthy of living her life to the fullest because of the pregnancy. Also, many Republicans wish to promote pro-life, but they typically want to cut welfare. This is even more hilarious. How can you force someone to have a child and then not offer the family (who was not financially ready for a child) welfare? How is that okay? Prison or a lifetime of poverty and hard times. This is completely and utterly wrong.

I am pro-life. I am pro-choice. It is my decision what I can and cannot do with my own body. My government, my society, and my peers cannot tell me what I can and cannot grow inside of my uterus. And most importantly, Donald fucking Trump cannot tell me that my state has the choice of forcing me to have a child.

I can have a baby now, but I do not have to; it is MY choice.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
