I get asked a lot "why did you chose such a hard and demanding major?" or "why not become a doctor because you'll make more money?". To be honest, I have considered becoming a doctor! Probably because I have watched too much "Grey's Anatomy," but nursing has always been my calling. And to tell you why I love nursing and want to be one other than "I want to help people" which is completely true, I've compiled a list of why I chose Nursing
1. I chose Nursing because I love people.
I am a huge people person and I couldn't picture a job that would let me help and be around people all the time!
2. I chose Nursing because I will be getting paid to love on people.
I get to help people feel better and let them know they aren't alone in what may be their darkest time.
3. I chose Nursing because it pushes me to work harder every day.
To become a nurse is extremely hard work! Even though I am not yet a nurse and in school to be one, you need to know a lot of hard stuff!
4. I chose Nursing because you get to do something different every day!
Every day is an adventure with this major/job! You are constantly learning and doing something new!
5. I chose Nursing because I basically get to wear pajamas to work and mess with really cool equipment all day while saving people's lives.
Scrubs and stethoscopes, need I say more?
6. I chose Nursing because I love it and I couldn't picture myself doing anything but helping people for the rest of my life.
Helping people is who I am and what I love!
