Please do not be turned away from the title of the article. I am in no way endorsing Donald J. Trump to be the next President of the United States of America... And I'm a republican. To begin, this one man has caused great havoc among a party due in part that he is running for a party that does not align with his core beliefs. His methods of running a campaign are risky, and they work. So to begin, this article is just a simple critique of his presidential campaign, not an opinionated article agreeing with every word Trump says.

The Joke of the Century:

One question has been revolving around America for the past few months-- Why is Donald Trump running for President? It could be due to a roast that Barack Obama slayed in the 2011 White House Correspondents Dinner. If that's the case, #thanksobama. It could be his power hungry ego taking over and pushing him to follow through with it. Did Donald Trump have any idea he would be the next Republican Candidate? He probably did. He's a rather egotistical man that thinks he can do anything. And now he knows he could literally do anything.

His campaign is literally ingenious. He funds it himself and doesn't even have to publish many ads. All he has to do is be the talk of the media and he has done that very well. He makes absurd comments, threatens to build a wall to block an entire nation, and is absent from certain debates. Why do I know this? I know this because that is all the media posts. What do ordinary citizens want to hear, John Kasich's moderate views on foreign policy or how a non-conforming politician wearing a wig is claiming to be best friends with Vladimir Putin? The latter causes more excitement and entertains more of an audience. This, for business and publicity reasons, the media will only expose Trump and his actions. Quite frankly, it is extremely entertaining, which brings me to the purpose of my article-- why I love Trump's run for the Office of President.

Let's first recap what Donald has done in the past few months to attribute to his rising popularity among voters:

1. He has threatened to build a wall to separate Mexico and the US. Also, he has exclaimed many times that Mexico will pay for it.

2. He claimed he would be best friends with Putin.

3. He has said, in debates and speeches, what every politician is afraid to say in order to refrain from assassination in office. He takes risks.

4. He told the press if his daughter, Ivanka, were not related to him, he would easily date her--Uh, what?

5. He has played hooky from debates in order to stir up press.

6. He has outlasted any opponent in the race. He is the probable republican presidential nominee.

Sometimes, comedians can take a joke too far. However, it's when they stick with it, they go farther and soon the joke becomes, as trump would say, huge! Well, Donald Trump surely did so. He entered in the race and everybody thought it was a great big joke. Then, he took it into the primaries. Wow Donald, let's not go too far here. Now, he is likely to be the Republican Presidential nominee. Okay DJ Trump, it was hilarious. You could seriously stop now. However, the entire ride was hilarious. No comedian can say they ran for President as a joke and made it to the general election. So kudos to you DJT, you really entertained myself and America. You go down in history as setting up the greatest joke EVER.

P.S. @Donald Trump: If you or your daughter happen to read this, feel free to contact me buddy.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
