If you have never heard of or never watched Carpool Karaoke with James Corden, I suggest you do that before reading the rest of this article. I’ll give you about four hours because that’s how long it will take to go through them all at least six times. I only know this because I myself have done it; however, if you don’t want to do that, then I will give you a shortened version. James Corden hosts "The Late Late Show" on CBS and he has been famous for doing Carpool Karaoke with big name artists such as Justin Bieber, Stevie Wonder, Elton John, One Direction and Adele. Recently in his video with Adele he mentions that Adele should have a squad, claiming it would be much cooler than Taylor Swift’s squad. No disrespect to Taylor because I am a day-one fan, but I have to agree with James that Adele’s squad would kick butt, and here are a few reasons why.
1. Adele
I mean obviously Adele would be in her own squad, but from all the interviews and based strictly off of her karaoke video, Adele is legitimately so cool. I want to be her friend. She is quirky, smart, independent, and a brilliant artist. All perfect characteristics for a squad leader.
2. Beyoncé
Queen B herself is friends with the British beauty, and although Adele said she wasn’t “friends with her”, rather just “friendly” we’ll take it. Even though Beyoncé doesn’t need to be in a squad, this squad would win just because she is in it.
3. Jennifer Lawerence
Oh JLaw; how we loved you in "The Hunger Games" and "Silver Linings Playbook". But let’s be honest, her wit and fiery attitude is what really won everyone over. Lawrence brings a girl next door, who eats your pizza and drinks your milk type of vibe that everyone's squad needs.
4. Amy Schumer
If Jennifer Lawrence comes, you know Amy will be right behind her. Schumer is a comedian and known for her more recent movie, "Trainwreck". Her blunt humor, while it may hurt, is downright hilarious and is needed in every squad. Someone has to say what everyone is thinking.
5. Emma Stone
Finally we have the adorable Emma Stone. I may be biased because I love Emma so much, but she honestly has so much to offer. She may not be as big of a star, but her awkward personality and ability to dance on Ellen brings the perfect blend of America’s sweetheart and comical humor to the squad.
So even though Adele thinks that Taylor’s squad is full of amazons, we have to give credit where it is due and say that Adele’s squad would be fire.
