Ever wonder about what your classmate next to you is thinking?
Of course of not, if you're in the same room, that means you're a student too. Therefore, you are most likely thinking the same way that they are. Nine times out of ten, when you notice a blank stare upon someone's face in class, it means they are on another planet. Daydreaming. Oh, and if there is a window in the classroom, you can't seem to not escape in it.
For tho:se of you who do not know, or just want to laugh about what idea or thoughts college students daydream about, here you go:
1. What am I going to do when I get out of school?
2. I need a job.
3. If i could just star in one movie, it would pay my college tuition.
4. Paying off this debt is going to be fun. not.
5. When is Thanksgiving break?
6. I can't wait to go to sleep.
7. Coffee.
8. I wonder how I'm doing in this class?
9. Maybe I'll drop out, and be a model. A hand model...
10. Puppies.
11. The weekend (Both the previous and approaching)
12. Getting rich.
13. Food from home.
14. Netflix.
We all know paying attention is ten times as hard when you have thoughts like these racing through your mind. The funny part is, every student struggles with these ideas. I couldn't tell you how many times I've been the one to completely space out or how many times I've caught others doing the same. When you finally come back to planet Earth, you realize that you should have been paying attention because you have a test next week. Or maybe you may want to switch your major.
But, I feel your pain. You don't have to stop daydreaming. I can't even imagine how difficult that would be. But, my advice to you is, daydream at home or in between classes. Good luck staying alert!
