Over spring break, I watched more Rachel McAdams movies than I have in recent memory. I’ve been a fan of hers since I realized she was the bitch in the blonde wig in Mean Girls, and she has yet to disappoint. She’s had a ton of impressive roles over the years and received a lot of attention for her role in the Academy Award winning film "Spotlight" this year. If you’re even kind of like me, you recognize the importance of contemplating which of her many roles most accurately aligns with your own character.
Sacha Pfeiffer, "Spotlight"
Uncovering the truth in any situation is very important to you. You are intelligent, compassionate and hard working. Even though your career might require you to listen to old white men talk a lot, you’ll never let those dudes push you around. You will make a name for yourself in whatever you pursue, and who knows, maybe Rachel McAdams will almost win an Oscar for playing YOU someday.
Amy Stone, "The Family Stone"
You are a lesser-known side of Rachel McAdams. You love to eat cereal at all hours of the day, and you let people know when they piss you off. Your family is more important to you than you actually want them to know, and you are very protective of your siblings. Also, you’re going to end up with your high school sweetheart. He’s an EMT now.
Maureen Hope, "Southpaw"
You would literally take a bullet for Jake Gyllenhaal. (But you’d have his kid first, of course.) You call things like you see them, and you’re great at motivating those around you. You love deeply and encourage your family and friends to go after their dreams, even if those dreams require them to beat up strangers on the reg.
Allie Hamilton, "The Notebook"
You are a people-pleaser. You often feel like you need to follow a certain path in life in order to make those around you happy. But, just as Allie shows us when she waits far too long to return to Ryan Gosling’s loving arms, the best thing you can do in life is follow your bliss. Even when you can’t remember him anymore, you’ll be happy you did.
Regina George, "Mean Girls"
You are Rachel McAdams at her blondest and most famous. You are brutally honest with your close friends and fake-nice to your acquaintances, thus giving them a healthy dose of false confidence. No one has ever called you a “nice girl,” but Amy Poehler is your mom, so really, who cares. On Wednesdays, you wear pink.
