Have you ever noticed that we are the only country that throw our wisdom away?
Children seem to disrespect and disregard the wisdom passed on to us from our elders. However, the elders hold the key and knowledge that can keep us from repeating the bad parts of history. They know that apathy, love and unity is the key that unlocks the doors to freedom. They made it through some of the toughest times with unity and love.
We are desperately in need of a love revolution, we need to make an effort to learn about one another after all we're all human beings somehow and someway we have forgotten that. We will try our best to learn everything that we can about a politician or a celebrity, but the people we see almost everyday we wont even give so much as a warm greeting or a smile to them.
That is where the problem lies, if we put as much time and effort into getting to know people we cross paths with everyday as we did trying to know what a so called star is doing, we would be well on our way to healing as a nation and as a human race. They say that this is a Christian nation, and people claim to be Christ followers yet what they display is the very opposite. For instance Christ extended love and acceptance to those that society had deemed as outcasts, while this Christian nation and most of the Christ followers condemn and look down their noses on people that doesn't do as they do.
People might not like this but that my friends is what you call a hypocrite and a hypocritical nation, next time anyone decides to deem someone unworthy or unacceptable I urge you to go take a long look in the mirror and ask yourself this question ( Am I the person that I claim or want to be or did I conform into what this society deemed fit for me to be?). So in my opinion we have been conned out of unity by the ones that has the most to gain from our division, that's why they have their puppets to continually push that self mentality which in turn made us turn a blind eye to our fellow human beings and their rights and worth.
We must learn to walk in light and love and also work on extending it to our brothers and sisters, we are all one the sooner we realize this the sooner we can live in peace, love, unity and harmony. I dream and hope to see the day that mankind can work together and live side by side in love, we have to start laying a firm foundation in love that the future generations can build upon.
In order to achieve this we have to forget about what society deems acceptable and walk on our own path of who we are, in other words be yourself because one thing is for sure is if a person is comfortable with who they are, they would have no need to look down on others and when the insecurity is gone then and only then can Love start to bloom and from that bloom we will see the petals of Unity in all its beautiful glory.
