To All Those Now Lost, You Will Find Yourself

Recognize that sometimes you have to get lost to find yourself.

To All Those Now Lost, You Will Find Yourself

I wonder when sin and free spirit connected. Why when I choose to let go my spontaneous behavior becomes reckless. When the spontaneity shines through me like candles, they wonder what the hell did I do? I took a deep breath, asked my brain if it was ready for this. Planted seeds in that very moment. My green thumb told me it was time. I've asked my spirit guides for help. Said guide me to the citadel of clarity.

I flushed the toxins out of my body through meditation. Ripped out all the parts that did not belong in my guts. Whispered to the universe I am here, ready for change to come in and light 'em up. Intuition, take me to the sun, to touch the stars of wisdom, kiss the moon in between singing lullabies to the planets. The zodiacs of truth filling the constellations in my soul. We are connecting stars in between flames of fire and Earth, we are here in a magnificent storm of astrology. Only the stars know where to take me from here. Time to run wild.

This was the ending of hurt and the beginning of self-love. As I packed boxes filled to the brim with forget me nots, I knew this was a chance of rebirth. This is your rebirth. Don't give up. We are here in our own gardens of youth growing new fruits and vegetables some have never heard of before. This is your time. You can dance in your own garden. Twirl through the soil, it's okay to get dirty sometimes. In the fruition of your own imagination, you have the ability to manifest all you desire.

So start now. Take a deep breath, let go of all the negativity and cultivate it into infinite opportunities. Your dreams started in your own head and they are at your fingertips now. They haven't moved far. Grasp on tight.

You are in for a wicked ride of manifestation. When you lose faith look up at the stars. You are your own constellation illuminating the sky. Take pride in the light you hold in your soul.

Seek yoga and meditation to balance your energy centers for this will create peace and clarity. Always remember Lao Tzu's words: "If you are depressed you are living in the past. If you are anxious you are living in the future. If you are at peace you are living in the present."

Take in this moment with me. Recognize that sometimes you have to get lost to find yourself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
